The purpose of the Maryland Healthcare Human Resources Association (MHHRA) is to advance the development of effective human resources administration in healthcare organizations including, without limitation, the following objectives:

• Organization: To develop a dynamic organization for the mutual benefit of its members and to provide leadership for healthcare human resources administrators;

• Education: To provide, on a proactive and timely basis, educational programs to promote professionalism in human resources administration and the continuing development of the Association’s membership;

• Relationships: To foster working relationships with the Maryland Hospital Association, the American Society for Healthcare Human Resources Administration and other mutual benefit organizations;

• Research: To stimulate research and the development of resource materials to serve the Association’s members; and
